Logistics and transport
Websites for couriers that let people track their own parcel.
Couriers, freight forwarders, moving companies and delivery businesses across Cameroon. If a customer has to call you to find out where their parcel is, you are paying somebody to answer that call all day.
The problem
Every parcel becomes a phone call.
A customer hands over a package and then wants to know where it is. Without a way to check for themselves, they phone. Then they phone again. One delivery can generate four calls, and somebody on your team has to stop what they are doing and find the answer each time.
The second problem is quoting. People want to know whether you cover their town and roughly what it costs before they commit. If the website cannot tell them, they ask a competitor whose site can.
What we build
Built for how this sector actually works.
Tracking your customers use themselves
A tracking number and a page that shows where the parcel is and what happens next. This is the single feature that takes the most work off your phone.
Coverage they can check in seconds
Which towns and regions you serve, shown clearly, so nobody calls to ask a question the page could have answered.
Quotes without a conversation
A rate guide or a quote form that captures weight, route and service level, so the first reply can be a price rather than a question.
Booking and pickup requests
Customers request a collection from the site, and the details arrive in one place instead of across three WhatsApp threads.
Fast on a phone, on mobile data
Drivers, senders and receivers are all on phones, often on patchy connections. That is the case the site is built for.
Proof you are a real operation
Registration, insurance, contact details and a physical address, because anyone shipping something valuable checks before they hand it over.
What changes
The difference it makes day to day.
Not abstractions about digital transformation. These are the specific things that are different in the month after launch.
See pricing- Fewer where-is-my-parcel callsSelf-service tracking turns the most repeated question you get into a page a customer can check at two in the morning.
- Quotes that start with a numberCoverage and pricing on the site mean the enquiries that reach you are from people who already know you serve them.
- Pickups booked from the websiteCollection requests arrive structured and in one place, rather than as messages somebody has to transcribe.
- Found by people searching your routeLocal SEO for the cities and corridors you actually serve, so you turn up for the searches that matter.
From our work
Built for businesses that move things
The same rule applies whether it is parcels, freight or a house move: work out the one thing the visitor came to do, then take everything else out of the way. Tell us what you move and we will show you the closest thing we have built.
Questions
Asked by organisations like yours.
Both are possible and the right one depends on your volume. A status page that your team updates works for a business moving tens of parcels a week. Past that, we connect the site to whatever system already holds your consignment data so tracking updates itself. We will tell you which you need rather than selling you the larger one by default.
Then we integrate with it rather than replacing it. If it has an API we pull tracking status from it. If it does not, we look at whether a simple upload from a spreadsheet is enough, which for a lot of operations here it is.
A site with coverage, service pages and a quote form sits in the 250,000 FCFA plan. Adding customer tracking and pickup booking moves it into the Enterprise range from 600,000 FCFA, because of the functionality involved. We quote in writing before anything starts.
Yes. We can trigger a WhatsApp or SMS message when a parcel changes status, which for most customers is what they actually wanted. It also cuts the calls further, because the update arrives before they think to ask.
Yes. The pattern is the same even when the cargo is not: say clearly what you move and where, make it easy to request a quote, and give people a way to check progress without phoning. Only the detail changes.
Other sectors
We work in these too.
