Branding and brand analysis
Branding and logo design people remember, and trust.
Your brand is the first impression your business makes, and in most cases it is the deciding factor in whether someone chooses you or goes to a competitor. We build brands that are clear, consistent and ready to compete, locally and internationally.
We look before we design.
We take the time to understand your business, your market and your customers before we design anything. A logo that looks good but says nothing about who you are is decoration, not branding.
Brand identity development
Mission, vision, values and tone of voice, so everything else aligns.
Logo design
A mark that carries your personality and credibility, not just your initials.
Colour and visual system
Palettes chosen for the emotion they carry and applied consistently everywhere.
Brand analysis and strategy
Market research, competitor analysis and customer insight before positioning.
Marketing collateral
Flyers, brochures and promotional material that match the identity.
Online branding
How the brand behaves on your website and social channels, not just in the guidelines PDF.
What is included
What you get.
Branding is not a logo. It is everything a customer uses to decide whether to trust you, from the colours and the typeface to the way you answer a message, and all of it should be saying the same thing. Getting that right is what makes a small business look like one people can rely on.
A logo and its variations
Primary, secondary and icon marks, in the formats you actually need for print, web and social.
A colour system
Chosen for how it reads on screen and in print, with the accessible combinations documented.
Typography
A type pairing with a scale, so headings and body text stay consistent whoever is using them.
Tone of voice
How the brand sounds in writing, with examples, so your team does not have to guess.
Brand guidelines
One document that shows how it all fits together and what not to do with it.
Applied to your site
Because a brand that lives only in a PDF has not actually been launched.
How we work
Research first, design second.
Discover
We learn your business, your customers and your market before any design work begins.
Analyse
Competitor and positioning analysis, so the brand stands apart rather than blending in.
Design
Logo, colour and typography developed together, with rounds of revision built in.
Apply
Guidelines delivered and rolled out across your website, social and collateral.
Pricing
Quoted around scope.
Branding is priced on what you need: a logo alone, a full identity system, or a rebrand with collateral and rollout. Logo design is also included in our web design plans where it makes sense.
Questions
The things people ask first.
Branding is everything a customer uses to decide whether to trust a business: the logo, the colours, the typeface, the tone of voice, and how consistently they appear. A brand analysis checks what your market already thinks first, so the design work is based on evidence rather than taste.
Yes, though a logo on its own does less than people expect. If budget is tight we would rather do a logo plus a small colour and type system than a logo in isolation.
Enough to get it right. We agree the number in the quote so there are no surprises, and in practice we do not stop while something is genuinely not working.
Yes, completely, in every format including the editable source files. You will never have to come back to us to get a usable version of your own logo.
Then we can work with it. Often the logo is fine and what is missing is everything around it: colour, type, tone and consistency.
A logo and basic system is usually two to three weeks. A full identity with research, collateral and guidelines runs four to six.
Yes, and we treat them carefully. A rebrand should keep whatever equity your current brand has earned rather than throwing it away for the sake of something new.
Next step
Tell us the goal. We will come back with the plan.
Tell us who your customer is and what you want them to think. If your money is better spent elsewhere first, we will tell you that.
