Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask before they call.

Answered properly, without a sales pitch. If yours is not here, message us and we will answer it the same way, and probably add it to this page.

Getting started

A single-page site starts at 80,000 FCFA, a six-page business website is 250,000 FCFA, and eCommerce or larger builds start at 600,000 FCFA. All three include a year of hosting and a .com domain. The full breakdown is on the web design pricing page, and the prices are real, not starting points that triple after a call.

Usually you do not, and that is fine. Tell us what you want to happen for the business and we will tell you what it takes. If that is less than you expected to spend, we will say so rather than selling you the bigger package.

Most of our clients are small businesses. The Starter plan exists precisely so a one-person business can get online properly for a price that makes sense at that size.

For a quote: what your business does, what you want the website or campaign to achieve, and roughly when you need it. For the build itself: your logo if you have one, your content or a rough idea of it, and access to your domain if you already own it.

Yes, and we do it regularly. We work with clients across Africa, in Nigeria and the United States, and anywhere else you happen to be, billed in USD. Everything runs over email, WhatsApp and video calls, which is how most of our local projects run as well.

SEO and AI visibility

Technical fixes can show within weeks. Movement on competitive search terms usually takes three to six months. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either guessing or using tactics that will get your site penalised later.

No, and neither can anyone else honestly. Google does not sell rankings and nobody controls the algorithm. What we can commit to is the work, the reporting, and telling you clearly when something is not working.

It is getting your business mentioned when someone asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Google's AI Overviews for a recommendation, rather than only ranking in the traditional results. A growing share of buying decisions now starts there, and it is influenced by different signals than classic SEO.

Not always. We can run SEO on a site somebody else built. If the site is so slow or broken that the SEO budget would be wasted, we will tell you that before you spend it.

Retainers require a minimum initial commitment, because SEO does not produce anything meaningful in a single month. The term is agreed in writing before we start and we do not lock you in beyond it.

Social media and branding

Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp Business, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. In this market WhatsApp Business is usually the one that matters most, because it is where enquiries actually arrive and where the sale often closes, and it is the one most businesses run on a personal number with none of the tools that make it work.

Twice a week, planned a month at a time, is the schedule we build around because it survives a busy month. Posting more is rarely the fix for a page that is not producing customers, and a business that posts daily for three weeks then goes silent for two months is worse off than one that kept a steady rhythm.

No, and the gap between those two things is where most disappointment lives. A branding project delivers the logo and its variations, a colour system, typography, a tone of voice, written guidelines, and all of it applied to your website. A logo on its own makes you recognisable; it cannot make people want what you sell, or fix a price that is wrong for the market.

AI marketing automation

The parts of your marketing that happen every day and do not need you: an instant first reply to a new enquiry, follow-up on quotes that would otherwise be forgotten, routing every lead into one list, review requests after a job finishes, and a weekly summary of what came in and where from. It is unglamorous work and it is usually worth more than the next thing you would spend on advertising.

On a typical setup, ten to twenty hours a week of repetitive marketing work. The bigger gain is usually not the hours though. It is that nothing gets dropped: every enquiry gets a reply while the person is still interested, and every quote gets chased whether or not the week filled up.

They should. An automatic first reply works because it is honest about what it is: it acknowledges the message, says when a person will answer, and asks one useful question in the meantime. It does not need to pretend to be a human and it should not try, because customers notice, and it costs you the trust the fast reply just bought.

Usually less than you would expect. Most of the value comes from connecting things you already run, such as WhatsApp, your website forms, email and a spreadsheet or CRM. We map the tools to your business and your budget rather than the other way round, and we favour ones that can be self-hosted, so the workflows and the data passing through them stay yours.

Four stages. We audit your website, social, email and ad accounts to find what is wasting your time. We map the workflows and sequences that fit your business and your audience. Everything goes live and we watch how it performs. Then you get a monthly report, and once it runs reliably without attention we widen it to more of your marketing.

It is often the opposite. The smaller the team, the more it matters, because there is nobody else to catch what gets missed while you are busy doing the actual work. If you are losing one job a month to a slow reply, the automation has already paid for itself.

Websites

A landing page is usually under a week. A six-page business site is two to three weeks. eCommerce and larger builds run four to eight weeks. The main variable is how quickly content and feedback come back from you.

Yes, completely. The domain, hosting account and website are registered in your name, and you receive every login at handover. We do not hold anyone's website hostage to keep them as a client.

Yes. Every build comes with a content management system and a training session so you or your team can change text, add pages and update prices without paying us.

WordPress and Elementor is our default because it is the easiest for clients to run themselves. We also hand-code sites in plain HTML when a project needs to be as light and fast as possible, and we build online stores on WooCommerce and Shopify.

Every site is designed mobile-first and tested on real devices before launch, not just resized in a browser. Most of your visitors in Cameroon will arrive on a phone, often on a slow connection, so that is the case we design for first.

Your domain stays in your name and is billed at cost, whatever the registry charges for it. Hosting from year two is either yours to arrange or ours to handle on a care plan, which starts at 50,000 FCFA a year and covers updates, backups and monitoring with it.

Paid advertising

Yes. Search, display, shopping, video, remarketing and app install campaigns on Google, and Facebook and Instagram campaigns on Meta. Which one you should start with depends on whether people are already searching for what you sell: if they are, Google captures demand that exists; if they are not, Meta has to create it, which is slower and needs better creative.

You pay the platform directly, from an account created in your own name with us added as a manager. We charge separately for managing the campaigns. It means you can see exactly what was spent, and if you ever stop working with us the account and all of its history stay with you.

Enough to produce thirty to fifty clicks a week on one tightly focused campaign, run for a month before you judge it. Below that you are not buying customers, you are buying a sample too small to learn anything from, and you will conclude that advertising does not work when the test was never valid. We would rather tell you that before you spend than after.

Faster than anything else we do. Clicks arrive the day the campaign goes live, which is the whole appeal next to the three to six months SEO takes. What you should not judge in the first week is whether it works: give it a month of real data, then look at what an enquiry cost you rather than what a click cost you.

Yes, and it is a good part of our work. We audit the existing account first: what it is actually spending on, whether conversion tracking was ever installed, and how much of the budget is going to search partners, the display network or broad match terms nobody meant to buy. Often the first month is spent stopping waste rather than adding budget.

We look at the landing page before we touch the budget. A click means the advert worked and somebody wanted what it promised, so what went wrong usually happened after they arrived: the page does not repeat the promise the ad made, it is slow on mobile data, the form asks for too much, or the campaign is buying research-shaped searches rather than buying-shaped ones. Raising the budget on a campaign that is not converting simply buys the same failure more often.

Conversions and what each one cost, set against the month before. Impressions and clicks are there for context, but a report that leads with a large impressions figure is leading with its best-looking number rather than its most useful one. You also get what we changed and what it did, including when the answer is that it did not help.

No. It is its own service with its own published prices, from 100,000 FCFA a month, on the ads pricing page. Tell us the budget you have in mind and what a customer is worth to you, and we will tell you honestly whether the numbers can work before you commit to anything.

Working together

No. Most clients start with one, and several stay with one for years. We would rather do a single service properly than sell you a bundle you cannot use, and if we think something on our own price list is not worth it for your situation yet, we will say so.

Nyah Eliud, the founder, who runs your project and approves everything you receive. There is no account manager relaying messages. You get one named contact who knows your account and a WhatsApp line that gets answered. An AI workforce helps with research, drafting, design and reporting, and the team page explains exactly what each agent does.

Most projects run 50% to start and 50% at handover, and larger builds are split across milestones. We accept bank transfer, MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money locally, and international transfer for clients abroad.

You review the design before anything is built, and revisions at that stage are included. If something is genuinely wrong, we fix it. Our refund position is written down on the refund policy page rather than left vague.

Every plan includes a support window, from one month on Starter to a year on Enterprise. After that you can run the site yourself using the training we gave you, or move onto a care plan from 50,000 FCFA a year and we look after it.

Yes, happily, before you share anything sensitive. Just ask.

Still unsure

Ask us the awkward question.

The ones about price, timeline and what could go wrong are the most useful ones, and we would rather answer them now than after you have paid.
