NGOs and non-profits

Websites for organisations that have to prove it.

Foundations, associations and non-profits in Cameroon and across the region. Donors, partners and grant committees will all check the website before they commit anything, and most non-profit sites are not built for that inspection.

The problem

The website is part of the due diligence.

Before a grant is awarded, a partnership is agreed or a donation is made, somebody looks the organisation up. They want to see what it does, who runs it, where the money goes, and evidence that any of it happened.

Most non-profit websites tell the mission and stop. No programme detail, no named leadership, no reports, no photographs from this year. It reads as inactive even when the organisation is doing excellent work.

What we build

Built for how this sector actually works.

Programmes explained properly

Each programme with its own page: what it does, where, for whom, and what has come of it so far.

Impact shown, not claimed

Numbers, photographs and reports, laid out so a donor or grant officer can find them in under a minute.

Leadership and governance visible

Named board, named team, registration details. Anonymity is the fastest way to lose a serious donor.

Donations made easy

Mobile money and card giving, both one-off and recurring, with as few steps as the payment provider allows.

Supporters kept in contact

Newsletter capture and updates, so a single donation can become an ongoing relationship.

Findable in both languages

English and French, because your funders, partners and beneficiaries are not all in one of them.

What changes

The difference it makes day to day.

Not abstractions about digital transformation. These are the specific things that are different in the month after launch.

  • Volunteers and partners self-serveApplications and enquiries arrive through the site instead of through somebody's personal inbox.
  • Recurring giving, not just one-offMonthly donations are the difference between a good year and a sustainable organisation.
  • Runs on a non-profit budgetBuilt to be maintained by your own team, so the site does not become an annual cost you cannot justify.

From our work

Louis Edem Foundation

A foundation website built to carry programmes, leadership and impact clearly enough to stand up to the scrutiny of donors and partners.

Questions

Asked by organisations like yours.

Tell us about the organisation and what you are trying to do. We take on a limited amount of reduced-rate work for causes we think are worth it, and we would rather have that conversation than pretend our list price is the only number.

Yes. MTN Mobile Money and Orange Money for local donors, and card payments for international ones. Recurring giving is worth setting up from the start.

If you can, yes. Published reports are among the strongest trust signals a non-profit website can carry, and their absence is noticed by exactly the people whose confidence you need.

In Cameroon, usually yes, particularly if you work with international funders. We build the structure for both from the start, which is far cheaper than adding a second language later.

Next step

Tell us the goal. We will come back with the plan.

We will tell you honestly whether we have done this before, and what we would do first.
